The Tax Day Tea Party is upon us

Today, thousands of Americans will take to the streets to protest overspending, taxation, and the dramatic growth of government we have experienced as of late. People should understand, we’re not just protesting the growth of government under the present Administration, but the long history of government overspending and overtaxing that has crippled our great nation as far back as Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This isn’t a Republican idea. This isn’t a Democratic idea. This movement does not respect contemporary political affiliations – rather, it has crossed party lines: Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians – and everyone in between – will come out today to protest the federal government. From big cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to small towns like Newport, Crossville, and Lewisburg – and everywhere in between!
