TNDP attacks TNGOP over proposed initiative backed by Bredesen
The TNDP stepped in it today. Just a few minutes ago, they tweeted this:
Republicans are want more unlicensed teachers and principals in Tennessee. Why? We have no idea. http://ow.ly/4I8vi
Aside from the glaring grammatical gaffe (proof we need to improve education?), the Tennessee Democrats seem to have a short memory.

Roberts sweeps up in #TNSen18 Special Election
I first want to say how proud I am of my friend Kerry Roberts for winning the special election to replace Congressman Diane Black in the State Senate yesterday. The Tennessean reports:
“Republican Kerry Roberts carried Sumner and Robertson counties by a landslide to defeat Democrat Ken Wilber in Tuesday’s special state Senate election to fill the 18th District seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Diane Black.
“This election was decided on three major points,” Roberts said in a written statement. “First, voters agree that job growth and economic development come through lower taxes, less government regulation and better education.
