Scott Brown Wins

With 100% of precincts reporting, Scott Brown captured 52% of the vote to Martha Coakley’s 47%. By a margin of just over 100,000 votes, Scott Brown became the first Republican Senator from Massachusetts since 1972. First and most importantly: congratulations, Senator-elect Brown.

I spent the days leading up to the election working in Needham and Boston. The enthusiasm was such as I’d never seen before. I met hundreds of volunteers and supporters, and you could tell there was a twinkle in their eyes. Without their help, this victory would not have been possible.

Below is a town-by-town map of the election. I’ll post more soon.
