Organizing For America: Palin ‘Dangerous’
In an e-mail from Organizing for America, Mitch Stewart calls Sarah Palin’s book tour ‘dangerous.’ Let’s take a look:
Friend -
Right now, Sarah Palin is on a highly publicized, nationwide book tour, attacking President Obama and his plan for health reform at every turn.
It’s dangerous. Remember, this is the person who coined the term “Death Panels” — and opened the flood gates for months of false attacks by special interests and partisan extremists.
Whatever lie comes next will be widely covered by the media, then constantly echoed by right-wing attack groups and others who are trying to defeat reform.
As we approach the final sprint on health reform, we can’t afford more deception and delay. We need to be ready for anything — and have the resources to respond with ads, events, and calls to Congress when the attacks come.
The left is terrified of Sarah Palin, because she redefines what it means to be a modern woman. While I’m certainly not her biggest fan, Palin manages a household and managed the state of Alaska. She’s dealt with the struggle of teen pregnancy and the complications of caring for a child with special needs, and she’s worked with a state legislature to balance a budget and provide services for people in harsh living conditions.
She – and the Palin family as a whole – is a representation of everyday Americans. The father who works 40+ hours a week to provide for his children; the mother who balances a professional life and raising a family; the teenage son or daughter who copes with the difficulties of high school and social issues.
While it would be uncouth for President Obama to publicly attack Sarah Palin, Stewart will likely continue to privately attack her in e-mail correspondence to Obama supporters. I don’t think these attacks will end well for the left.

According to an email from President Obama’s former campaign, traveling around the country and promoting your book is “dangerous.” Well, I suppose that capitalism is a scary thing to most liberals. Could it be that liberals are terrified of someone like Palin exposing healthcare for the socialist sham that it is? [...]
