Let’s call it what it is: Islamic Terrorism
On the morning of 11 September 2001, 19 men boarded planes on the east coast, determined to cripple the American economic system. As I rode the bus to Blackman High School, these men overpowered the crews of at least three planes and steered them toward the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. A fourth plane “unsuccessfully” headed toward its final destination: a field in Pennsylvania.
Driven by their extremist religious views, these 19 men killed nearly 3,000 Americans: fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, and wives. Unapologetically and with great thanks to Allah, these followers of the peaceful religion of Islam slaughtered only innocent people; people who lived, worked, and played in New York City and Washington, D.C.
Since 11 September 2001, there have been over 14,000 such attacks by extremist Muslims, albeit none quite as deadly as the attacks of that Tuesday.
American lives were again put in harm’s way when Army Major Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood in Texas earlier this week. In his wake, he left 13 servicemen and women and an unborn child dead, while wounding nearly three dozen others before being neutralized and apprehended.
My outrage is that many in the MSM are trying to blame this on some psychological disorder. Intelligence reveals that Hasan had regular contact with a radical Muslim Imam and that he attempted to contact al Qaeda on several occasions.
This P.C. war is going to get us killed.
It doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to realize what happened here. This was no more a mental breakdown by one unstable Army Major than the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole was a fishing expedition.
Since the shooting at Fort Hood (and by the time of this posting), 28 other terrorist attacks have been executed by extremist Muslims in the countries of Afghanistan, Algeria, India, Iraq, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, Thailand, and Yemen – all in the name of “Allah.”
While the MSM flounders around to examine the “reasons” behind the shooting, most Americans realize what happened.
UPDATE: Hasan’s personal business cards noted that he was an “SoA,” or Soldier of Allah.
