Just to see you naked…
In a story confirmed by A.C. Kleinheider only moments ago, news of Speaker of the House Kent Williams’ professional misconduct dating back to 2007 are surfacing once again.
From the story,
“Rep. Lynn said that when Rep. Williams came up to her and told her how beautiful she was. She said he also told her, ‘I will give a weeks pay just to see you naked.’” Mumpower writes.
I heard this exact same story from several people in Nashville last week. This sort of thing is rampant throughout the Legislature, but it’s inexcusable. At the time, Williams was an unknown freshman Member. Apparently, that’s how they get to know each other in Elizabethton.

It is funny that the GOP kept this quiet until Williams beat out Mumpower for Speaker…..oh the tides will turn!
Actually, this matter was addressed back in 2007 when Kent Williams was a nobody. Now that he’s actually… well… got a title, it becomes more important. He didn’t only (allegedly – a term I use lightly here) sexually harrass a Republican, but there are also allegations that he harrassed a Democrat Representative, as well. It’s inexcusable.
